Keep the Little Ones Entertained with Designer Toys and Games

When it comes to keeping young children occupied, it's not always a straight forward matter. Their attention can quickly drift, and before you know it you might have to find something else to captivate their imagination. Making use of creatively designed toys and games can certainly help in the goal of keeping youngsters entertained.

Here at Dotmaison we love to see new products designed with little ones in mind that are fun and inspiring. If there is a bit of learning involved too, then all the better!

The following products all have these core principals at their heart. Designed and produced with colour, energy and creativity, there is sure to be something to excite every child.

Take the above Apple Run Wooden Play Set by Petit Collage. The fabulously colourful set of wooden items is a slide race where a butterfly, a bee and a ladybird race through the apple to see who finishes first. Crafted from hygienic and safety approved wood and featuring water based inks, the game offers a lovely invitation to an exhilarating way to improve concentration and hand-eye co-ordination.

Oli and Carol are a new brand to Dotmaison who we are pleased to introduce. Offering a wonderful assortment of learning toys and activities for children, one of their main endeavours is providing suitable toys and activities for teething tots. With an emphasis on bath times, the above Oli and Carol Teether and Bath Toy, Kendall the Kale is a great example of what the label does so well. Fun and artfully designed 100% safe and chewable natural rubber toys are the company's stock in trade, and the friendly kale toy demonstrates this beautifully.

Another product from the Oli and Carol line providing fun for teething toddlers is the Teether and Bath Toy, Arnold the Avocado. Great for bath time, the representation of an avocado is skilfully produced using a single piece of natural rubber. Completely safe for kids to play and chew, the toy is hand-painted with natural safe dyes.

The above Ferm Living Octopus Music Mobile, Sand is a soft toy mobile that doubles as a musical performer! Simply pull the wooden ring and the striking looking octopus will start playing Brahms's Lullaby. Easy to position anywhere with the attached loop, the mobile is a perfect way to get the little ones relaxed and off to sleep.
