Happy New Year!
As if we needed to remind anyone, it is officially 2018, and here at Dotmaison we’re just as excited as everyone else is! The passing of one year into the next is a great time to think about trying something new. Whether that be learning something new, trying out something original in the kitchen or simply attempting to stick to a resolution for more than a couple of weeks (it’s hard, we know!), the new year can promise lots to look forward to.
Having a go at creating some new interior looks at home is a great way to get the year off to a flying start. Choosing to bring in something dynamic like a new choice of wallpaper is a particularly inspiring way to get things moving. The above Flow Wallpaper from by Lassen is a superb rendering of a Nordic style, with beautifully drawn geometric patterns and a choice of three subtle tones of beige, grey and blue.
A different kind of expression, though just as eye-catching, is offered by the Feltra Wall Decor by Umbra. Composed of delightfully created peel-and-stick felt flowers, the whole collection can be organised in any style or pattern as desired. With three different shades of colours, the flowers are able to add a new style and new snapshot of optimistic life to any interior.
Flowers of an all together different variety are able to find a striking new home in the Cube Vases by LSA. Available in five different sizes, the vases make the most of LSA’s skill with glass-making and design to offer a wonderful space for short stemmed flowers. A truly modern and distinctive look to bring some new life into the home, the vases are brilliant as a focus for an appealing floral display.
The Elle Tables by XL Boom are an impressive way to add a new look to any interior. The superbly designed side and coffee tables are composed of aluminium copper coloured legs supporting a smart white enamel top. With a precise and deftly created composition, the tables provide a wonderful accessory throughout the home. The 3 different dimensions of the tables make either grouping as a collection or standing individually a great way to offer a new look to the home.
