Comfort, style and artistic design; three things that a throw can offer the home in full. A lovely way of detailing a luxurious level of relaxation, throws provide a casual way of relaxing with the best materials and prints.
Here at Dotmaison we love the creativity that designers produce when embarking on a new production of throws. The verstile nature of the product means that they can be used in lots of different ways, from room to room, or on trips away.
Here are a selection of some of the throws available now. Take a look and imagine how you could delight in a throw.
The above Bee Throw, 150×200 by Sophie Allport is lovingly made using woven cotton. The slate grey throw feature a striped winged bee across the whole of the material and has a fringed edge. The pattern is repeated on the reverse side in the opposite colour form. A lovely way to take it easy while also paying tribute to the wonder of bees, this throw makes an elegant addition to any home.
A companion piece to the Bee Throw is the Hares Throw. In this beautifully crated item, Sophie Allport once again draws our attention to the stunning beauty of the natural world around us. The design uses the stitched silhouettes of hares to create an understated yet wonderfully compelling look. Made with 150gsm quilted white cotton, the throw is uniquely finished off with pale grey pompoms in each corner.
The Canopée Zebra throw by Descamps also brings an animal theme to the world of throws. Produced using a mix of wool and acrylic, the captivating black and grey throw measures at 130x180cm, and is sure to bring an elegant look of luxury wherever and however it is used.
Offering a real vibrancy and energy, the Nia Throw, Ochre 130x170cm from Fatface is another lovely example of the combination of style and practicality that throws can provide. Great as an addition to bedding supplies, or simply for relaxing in the living room, the throw brings out a fine way for getting cosy and comfortable.
