Every good home should contain flowers someone once said. And since every bunch of flowers needs somewhere to contain them, it stands to reason that every good home should contain vases as well. The imaginative Japanese designers Torafu Architects (who we featured last year here ) have added their talents to the world of vases with these sublime creations, simply named the Airvase.

The paper container, designed for French company Ligne Roset, can be stretched into bowls or vases depending on the user’s preference. Patterns are printed on both sides of the paper, providing guidance for the user to shape the designs however they desire.

With a wide choice of colours and designs, the Airvase is a simple and practical way to add a bit of excitement to your living area.

Dotmaison have a fantastic range of vases available, with superb designs from LSADartington and Rosenthal.
