Miami is a city that has been steadily building its cultural and artistic credentials for the last 30 or so years. With the Pérez Art Museum it may well have found its key component in the creative world.
The Pérez Art Museum Miami by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron is a huge complex, designed over three floors. The 3000 square-metres of galleries are housed within some fantastic features including a huge elevated veranda and vast expanses of glazing. Built to take the local climate and landmarks into account, the museum acts as a wonderful complement to the city’s justifiably famous assortment of colourful and futuristic buildings and displays.
