Orla Keily‘s signature multi stem print bedding has been a huge hit since its release in the 2009 collection. The bold and striking design reaches out and grabs for attention, making it a fantastic addition to any bedroom.
Originally starting out as a designer of hats for Harrods after leaving the Royal College of Art in 1993. She soon moved into handbags and knitwear before being signed on to work with Marks & Spencer for their Autograph range. She was recently nominated for Best Accessory Designer at the British Style Awards. Along with her husband and business partner Dermott Rowan, she has built a worldwide business with everything from clothing to stationary to home-wares.
The designs are reminiscent of the 60’s and 70’s retro style which works so well as bedding. Each year she comes up with a new print which is then made into everything from rugs to coats and lampshades. The multi stem print is one of these. Her designs are renowned for being quirky and chic and not out of place in a boutique hotel or the most fashionable bedroom and certainly not out of place in your bedroom.
