When dining out the setting and atmosphere is almost as important as the food on offer – a superlative banquet just isn’t going to taste the same in a garden shed. As these pictures show, Tsujita LA, a Los Angeles based noodle restaurant is not likely to face this problem. Gloriously designed by Japanese architects SWeeT, the space is a wonderful home to relaxation and fulfillment.
Featuring a textured ceiling of 2500 wooden sticks that create a drum stick patterned cloud, the restaurant looks like a luxurious place to spend time and relax. The designers wanted to create a space that make its visitors think about Japan and want to visit it. With that they have definitely succeeded!
If all of that is making you feel hungry why not take a look through Harumi Kurihara’s Home Cooking recipe book, available from Dotmaison. Delicious!
