The first delicate rays of light in the morning, or a new born chick saying hello to the world – both have the capacity to inspire, motivate and fascinate. This natural love of rebirth is explored wonderfully in Outofstock’s design for Singaporean cafe, Hatched at Holland Avenue.

Birds’ nests are the number one creative inspiration – and it shows everywhere from the name and look of the place to the menu, where eggs in various guises are served all day. The bright yellow of the interior rope web, seats and doors, create a cheery, welcoming look for this bright and homely looking cafe.

The second of two Hatched restaurants created by Outofstock in Singapore, the designers seem to have a way with an oeuf. Let’s hope they haven’t put all their eggs in one basket!
