To some, the café environment is amongst the most stimulating of environments to eat, drink, read or work. Café culture is deeply ingrained in France, where the lifestyle is intertwined with the relaxed image of coffee, cake and comfortable chairs. A new addition to the Paris coffee shop scene is Café Coutume designed by architecture studio Cut Architectures.
Using a mixture of traditional café design with high-end coffee making equipment Café Coutume brings a modern take to the classic heart of Parisian life. The studio stripped down walls and tore down a suspended ceiling from the former shop uncovering a beautiful ripe foe filling with delight.
