As a modern symbol of the German capital, they don’t get much more recognisable than the Berlin TV tower. The Berliner Fernsehturm stands proudly in the centre of the city, seemingly drawing all attention to its core. What is perhaps less well known is that there is a modern fusion restaurant located very near its summit.
Dating back to the 1960’s, the tower had once been a landmark of the old East Germany. Now it is a potent sign of the reunified country’s appeal, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors to its site every day. Not only does the tower hold incredible views of the city, there is also a great bar and restaurant.
Serving a wide variety of national and international dishes, the restaurant is of impeccable quality and would make a welcome trip for the food and view appreciating tourist, or indeed, the altitude loving local!
