What’s on the Menu? Premium Scandinavian Design

What’s on the Menu? Premium Scandinavian Design

Here at Dotmaison we just love the effectiveness of Scandinavian style brands and designers to offer a cool and chic look to interiors and homes. Labels such as VITA Copenhagen, by Lassen, VIPP, XL Boom and many more all carry with them a certain Nordic charm and innovative simplicity. Menu are another great designer and producer capable of changing the way we look at household products.

The Marble Wall Clock (above) is a classic example of the brand’s ability to fuse timeless ideas of style and attractiveness alongside a distinctly modern approach. The minimalist framing of the clock’s integral timepiece reveals a design comfortable with merging trends in a thougthful and eloquent way. Created with marble, brass and plastic, the wall clock is one of the company’s most popular pieces and is something of a calling card for its approach to homeware products and designs.

The stunning Bottle Grinder Set, here in ash with stainless steel tops,  are another of Menu’s products that merge a subtle, reserved style with maximum efficiency and quality. More than just salt and pepper mills, the set of two items are fully functional as spice grinders. Perfectly suitable for preparing spices and herbs in new and interesting ways, the bottle grinders can offer a wonderfully versatile arrangement to your kitchen. The hard-plastic bottle shaped grinders have been topped off with a stainless steel top making easy to clean and keep fresh. Operated using a ceramic grinding mechanism, the design allows salt, pepper or spices to sprinkle out in a manageable way, ensuring you can keep kitchen surfaces clean and tidy.

Menu has also brought its captivating take on style and design to the world of lighting. The Reade Table Lamp takes minimalism as a key concept, with this 1930s inspired piece of Americana offering up a literary and artistic sense of fine cultivation. Fashioned from solid brass, the superbly constructed retro-piece would look superb in any interior.

magnetic-trivet

Back in the kitchen the brand’s Magnetic trivet provides a safe and beautifully constructed way of managing hot metal pots and pans on work surfaces. Able to keep the heat off for sustained periods, they will prove invaluable to all busy kitchens. Able to be easily folded away, the Jakob Wagner designed pieces bring a keen sense of style and practicality to the home.

All of the products and many more are available to now at Dotmaison.
